Mold Removal Consultation and Remediation
IICRC Certifies Companies for the Mold Removal Industries

Why is mold growing in my home? Mold is part of the natural environment. Outdoors, mold plays a part in nature by breaking down dead organic matter such as fallen leaves and dead trees, but indoors, mold growth should be avoided.
Molds reproduce by means of tiny spores; the spores are invisible to the naked eye and float through outdoor and indoor air. Mold may begin growing indoors when mold spores land on surfaces that are wet. There are many types of mold, and none of them will grow without water or moisture.

Some mold removal projects will not require our services, but many do. We take the utmost precautions when remediating mold to protect customers and technicians from excessive mold exposure. We always recommend a 3rd party Mold Inspector for our mold removal projects to ensure integrity through-out the process.

When cleaning mold, we use advanced cleaning solutions and mold remediation techniques. We remediate using only the best HEPA filtration systems to ensure containment of mold spores.

If discretion is required please inform us on the first phone call.

Steps of Mold Removal / Remediation / Abatement:

1. Evaluate concentration and species of mold. This is done by sending an air sample test to a laboratory for evaluation. A comprehension report will be sent to show what species and what concentration levels are in the suspect living space. Air samples will also be taken from the outside to establish whether mold spores inside are being influenced by the mold spores outside or if the inside environment is producing the increased mold spore count.
2. With a report indicating which rooms have high mold spore count the remediation contractor can focus on projects scope.
a. Which contaminated materials to remove.
b. How and where to create negative air.
c. Where to place HEPA air processing equipment.
d. Which product to use and on which surfaces.

3. Remediation typically 1-2 days removal and abatement, then the air processing equipment must run for 3-4 days after.
4. After mold abatement is complete testing can be schedule.
5. A 3rd party inspector will test each previously testing area. Results typically take 3 days to receive.

Cost of Mold Abatement:
Most companies will not give out pricing because it is too difficult to accurately know what the project will cost, we are not different. However, we have understand that some customer do not understand the complication involved with mold abatement so we have decided to establish a minimum price so as to reduce sticker shock on-site.
Mold Removal Pricing: Minimum $500 project no matter how small. $1.90 per square foot, this is a footprint of each floor not each surface of floor, walls and ceiling. Additional pricing per square foot would be added for material removed, contents moved, over 8 foot ceilings, attic and insulation removal, etc.
